In Loving Memory

I am upset I didn't see this sooner, to be able to attend Steve's celebration of life. I met Steve while we both worked for Brown Floral, I loved being around him because he made me laugh and was a delightful and upbeat person. I have many memories of Steve, I'll never forget we went out for ice cream one night and ordered banana splits. As I spooned the ice cream into my mouth I dripped a little on my skirt, I kept eating hoping he wouldn't notice. After a few moments, he asked "are you going to wipe up your skirt?" We both cracked up. When I went to Italy and Greece in 1978 I brought him back a chariot statue and a round Greek key rug which he proudly displayed in his home. I could go on, he was a marvelous human being who will be missed. I loved you then and I love you now Steve. Rest in peace my sweet friend, your memory will be eternal. ♥

I am sorry to hear about Steve's death.  Although I have lost contact with Steve in recent years, I have many fond memories of him when he traveled with the Rocky Mountain Dancers throughout Europe, Asia and elsewhere.   Steve was able to see the humor in ordinary events and experiences.  He loved to joke and tell stories and his laugh was contageous.   Steve was one who went the extra mile to make sure others were happy and comfortable on those long bus rides, and he helped boost the morale of the group with his positive outlook on life.  I feel lucky to have worked with him and I'm sorry he is gone.  My condolences to his family and friends.  I wish I had been able to say good-bye to this kind and good man.  -George Frandsen, Rocky Mountain Dancers, founder and director.
