In Loving Memory

Shirley, I was saddened to learn of the passing of your husband. I pray that God will watch over you and your family during this difficult time to ease your burden.

I was so saddened to hear of George's passing. I received an email from East class of '70 saying that George had been added to the "in remembrance" list. It was shocking. We recently returned from a Spain vacation and we do not take the Tribune, so I had not heard anything. I really would have enjoyed knowing about the services. He was a first cousin of my first wife, classmate all the way through school. He was always there at the Gunderson reunions, I enjoyed attending a few of his and his families ceremonies at their temple - thank you for the invites - I learned a lot. I guess we are getting older. Again I am so saddened at your loss in fact everyone's loss. I even remember tending the kids. Best wishes for the future, rck

George was a fine example of craftsmanship and dedication. He taught me many things during the years I had the good fortune to work with him. I’m very grateful to have had the opportunity to have had George as a mentor and friend. A fine man.
