In Loving Memory

I have wonderful memories of the Nielsen brothers , spouses & children as Uncle Bill Nielsen's eldest daughter (Linda Nielsen Healey) gathering in the kitchens of Uncle Warren, Uncle Ronnie, Uncle Norm, Uncle Mort, Uncle Wally, & Aunt LaVerne & Aunt Ruth on our summer trips to Utah from CA. They were hilarious times with funny stories & nicknames from their youth. It was/is a fabulous family. Condolences to all of Uncle Warren's & Aunt Jo's extended family. Sending love from California Linda Nielsen Healey & family.

My favorite memory of grandma and grandpa was them coming to a baseball game of mine as a kid. With the bases loaded, grandpa shouted out “he’s going to hit a home run”. The very next pitch I hit that ball well over the fence. A few days later, my family and I took that baseball to them with my autograph written on it. I remember how proud they both were of me in that moment. The best part of it to me is remembering that smirk grandpa gave me when I gave him the ball because he called the home run. Ever since that day grandpa kept that ball. The best part of this whole story is that in my career of a collegiate and professional athlete, that is still one of my greatest moments.
