In Loving Memory

Miki, I just ran across this information. I have and always will have a soft spot in my heart for John. As I look back at my years working with him, he was without a doubt one of the finest, most ethical, gentleman, that I worked with. Sending love to you and your beautiful girls.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Although we haven’t been in much contact over the years, it was great to spend time with John during our 50th high school class reunion. We were teammates in both football (John the center to my QB15) and tennis. At the reunion we got out for a round of golf and shared a wonderful visit. The world has lost a really good guy.

Miki, I was so sorry to hear about your wonderful husband, John. What an amazing husband and father. Keep your memories close as he will be with you always! Love Erin Pickens

John Karg. Where do we start? A great life for a great guy. Often you put tears in our eyes with laughter, now with sorrow. We are sure by now you are on the tennis court with Bob Evans, Lee Hammel, and Mike Cooper. What a match! Remember that Bob does not like to be told where to stand to return serve. You will always be on the tennis court with us left behind.

I was very sorry to read this sad news. I was John's client in the early '80s, when I made my first investments. I was a young woman and did not have much to invest but John couldn't have treated me with more respect than if I had had millions to plunk down. I'm embarrassed to admit that I called every day at about 2:15 p.m. to see how my stocks had fared and thus we had many conversations. It was always a pleasure to talk with him. I sense that he had a happy, fulfilling life and followed his bliss. To Miki and his daughters, I just want to say that I'm sorry for your loss and to let you know what a positive presence John was in my life.
