In Loving Memory

Dear Varoz family, Some of my fondest memories of Jubie revolve around my years with Salt lake City fire department. As my Capitan of station 14, Jubie was a constant source of humor, kindness and incredible self confidence. I will always remember him teaching me to drive the tiller on truck 14 and the going in his eyes as he saw the love I had for that position. Playing racquetball in the station, he had a wicked serve and loved to show us boots how to play the game. His sense of humor was often exhibited through his laugh and smile as he would make is be up and at our assigned apparatus after the morning gongs went off. He had an incredible sense of duty and pride in his job as capitation and would really pass on his knowledge to us as we tried to learn our jobs and duties. I pray for your comfort at this time and for God's arms to surround you with love at the passing of a man that was a force of nature and a kind soul. His bless you all, Jeffrey Scott Spanish Fork, UT Former crew member of station 14 and friend.

Julie I will see you sooner than others think. You were a great friend and mentor in the fire service and while we were off. You taught me a lot about gardening and I still plant hundreds of flats of vegetables and flowers annually. Wish we could have gone fishing.
