In Loving Memory

My favorite memory of Marah was one Sunday after church when she was approached by one of the panhandlers on 2nd and 2nd. As she pulled out her wallet she said, “ Don’t give me any BS about what you are going to do with this money. I know it is going to buy alcohol, just promise me that you will go somewhere safe.” She was quirky and creative and she loved every suffering soul, but most of all, she lovingly met people where they were at. I also have beautiful memories of she and Dave dancing at a church Mardo Gras party ... and an hilarious conversation about changes in female body hair with aging ...that isn’t especially appropriate for this site! Rest is peace beautiful lady!

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Surely she will be missed by all; especially her grandkids with their wonderful memories of holidays, her baked goods, and sharing her love of animals and the arts. Those are always the best memories to have in our hearts. Sending your family many prayers for peace and God's love during these healing times.
