Dear Sally.

Bill and I were so shocked and saddened to read about John's sudden death.  John was such a fun, happy and sincere man. He always had alot of people around him. Whether it was tailgating or wherever, John always seemed  happy to see us  and  was interested in how our lives were.      We are so very sorry for your loss and hope your wonderful memories will help you through these sad times.

What a guy! My sincere condolences to Sally, Jenifer, and Brian. John has left a void in all of our hearts, especially yours.

John established himself as my best friend many years ago and will remain such for the rest of my life. As true friends, we helped each other get into and out of trouble frequently, most of which was alcohol related.

One of our favorite outings was to take our sons to "Hatts Ranch", a private pheasant hunting club near Green River, Utah. This was always followed by a stop at "Ray's Tavern" at days end for food, drink, and lots of serious pool table tournimonts. Then the next morning, we'd drag ourselves out of bed and do it all again. Good times had by all!

Another favorite for Holly and I was to spend time at Lake Powell with the Ware family and ours. Plenty of laughs, serious card/board games at night, and lots of time tinkering with our boats during the day. Oh the memories.

Some time ago, John and I made a pact; first one to die will save a seat at the local bar for the straggler, and of course, seats for Sally and Holly. John, I'm holding you to that!

Rest in peace, my friend.
