Chip and I were friends in high school at Holland Hall. One of our mutual friends was Peter Morley, who passed away more than 30 years ago. I've wanted to reach out to Chip for many years to make amends. Sometime in 1973 or 1974 Peter and I thought it would be funny to let the air out of Chip's tires on his cool Cutlass convertible in his driveway. The next day, his father couldn't get out of the driveway without ruining Chip's tires. Chip was furious with Peter and me. Rightfully so. I never reimbursed him for the tires. But I have thought about it ever since. 
Chip, you were a funny guy, and I am glad to say that we were friends for a time.  I'm glad to learn that you lived a full and satisfying life. My condolences to your family-I'm sure they remember many great times they had with you, as I do.
