Darrell Lee Meyer
In Loving Memory
I worked with Darrell in the 70's in child welfare and cherished visits to Meyer Gallery in Park City and Santa Fe. Holding Geri and Susan in my heart. A remarkable, thoughtful man.
Dear Gerri and Family, I am so sorry to hear of Darrell's death. I mourn the fact that we lost touch with each other. It seems I used to think we had all the time in the world to reconnect with people that we love and enjoy. Not so, anymore. I have fond memories of dinner at the Gallery, and wonder why I didn't reciprocate? So sorry. We still enjoy the painting by Franklin Euray Anderson that you so generously gifted us. I think of you every time I dust it. (Not so often lately). I probably will not be able to attend the celebration of his life as I no longer drive at night! I would be a menace. Please know that I will be thinking of you now, more than ever!!
Gerri, Susan, Andrew, and Alana I am so sorry to hear of Darrell's passing. He and Gerri were part of my journey of my appreciation of art. He was always generous and his infectious smile made my day. Please take care of each other.
