In Loving Memory

My grandma was an incredible and remarkable woman. Nana, you were so much greater and honorable than words can describe..

You never held a grudge, you always forgave.... You always gave people a second chance and held no judgement. You were selfless, faithful, and loving. You took everyone in.

You were the greatest caretaker in the world. You adored babies and children and taught everyone how to be a wonderful mother and woman. You loved being a grandmother and giving to others. You gave everyone attention and affection.

You were fiercely loyal and devoted to your family.
Your religion was by default, Christianity, your children, and grandchildren were your only priority. You never changed. You were always consistent and genuine. You always had your children's and grandchildren's backs.

You taught us strength, courage, integrity, and moral character. You were only thinking of others, never yourself.

You always had the best intentions for others and you gave everything your all. There was zero ill-will in your actions.

You made everyone feel included and important. You never played favorites with your children and grandchildren and you never shut anyone out. You never judged anyone. If I can become even half of the mother and grandmother you were, I've made it. If there was any way I could show my gratitude for you, it's to carry your legacy in being the fair and wonderful and loving mother to my children, as you were.

I love you always, you are forever alive in my heart and memories, and I'm so thankful to have made you a grandmother. Your engrained in my mind, soul, heart, and spirit for life.

It was not goodbye forever, and I'll always be your little girl.

I love you,

Nancy, Chris and family,

These beautiful and truthful words could not describe your mother better. She was a firecracker and we all loved her for it. I always remember your mom having so many questions and was so interested in our lives. Whether it was about the boys we were dating in highschool or wanting to know where Nancy and I were going at every turn. I always envied the fact that she and Nancy would never miss a Nordtrom Anniversary Sale before school started! As an adult she would always ask me how my daughter and parents were doing. I am so thankful we had a moment to see eachother one last time last week. I believe with all of my heart that she is singing and dancing in heaven and will be waiting for you one day to come running into her arms. God bless you all wiith God's peace, grace and mercy knowing she is with him and healthy again.

I love you dear Nancy and am here for you always, Pilar
