Nick Andy Paloukos
January 16, 1936 - March 15, 2018
Nick passed away peacefully in his sleep surrounded by his family on March 15, 2018 at the age of 82.
He was born to Andy and Petroula Paloukos. He attended South High and made All State in Football. He also played for the University of Utah and Army at Fort Benning, GA.
Those who knew him, knew of his accomplishments and failures. He was a member of the Salt Lake City Police Department for over 30 years. He married Eleni Leal on January 29, 1976.
Survived by wife Eleni; Son Harry Anthony (Tony); daughter Lisa; granddaughter Lexie; sister Julia (John); stepchildren from previous marriage Craig (Michelle) and Terri. Preceded in death by parents; sister Loula; brother Jim and son Nick, Jr.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Anna Greek Orthodox Church, 3015 East Creek Road with a viewing beginning at 10:00 AM.
