William Edward Lewis

November 3, 1955 - January 7, 2019

Beloved Father, Son, Grandfather and Brother William Edward Lewis, 63, of Idaho Falls, passed away January 7, 2019, at his home.
William was born November 3, 1955, in Idaho Falls, Idaho, to Reid Evans Lewis and Marcene Elaine Hendrickson Lewis Burns. He grew up and attended elementary school in Idaho Falls and attended high school in Salt Lake City, Utah.
He married Debra McFarland in 1975 in Idaho, and they were later divorced. He married Cheryl Strader in 1981 in Idaho Falls, and they later divorced. William worked as a fisherman in Alaska and went on to work as a Steel Fabricator in Salt Lake City and later a Steel Fabricator and Journeyman Electrician in Idaho Falls. He has five children, Clinton, Jeffrey, Brandon, Sheena and Benjamin.
He was a Christian. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, small electronics, inventing, mechanics, quilting, cooking, wood working, and riding motorcycles. But most of all he enjoyed his grandchildren.
William is survived by his son, Clinton (Shelly Huynh) Lewis of Salt Lake City, UT; son, Jeffrey (Jaclyn) Lewis of Salt Lake City, UT; son, Brandon (Renee) Lewis of Salt Lake City, UT; daughter, Sheena Lewis of Idaho Falls, ID; son, Benjamin (Brittany) Lewis of Idaho Falls, ID; mother, Marcene Elaine Burns of Salt Lake City, UT; brother, Reid (Wendy) Lewis of Salt Lake City, UT; sister, Karen (Bill) Van Valkenburg of Seattle, WA; sister, Barbara (Eddie) Gallacher of Salt Lake City, UT; and 10 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Reid Evans Lewis.
A private burial will be in the Fielding Memorial Park Cemetery in Idaho Falls with a Memorial Service in Salt Lake City, Utah, on January 26, 2019 from 6 until 8pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City. Guests are encouraged to use the complimentary valet parking provided on the north side of the building.
