Judith Anne Bailey
Judy was born in Illinois but moved to California when she was young and always considered herself a California girl. She made numerous close friends in high school that continued through her entire life. Most notable of these was Barbra Young her best friend for over 60 years.  She met and married Jim ALexander and together they moved to Salt Lake City and had a daughter Jayme. Judy was an outdoor enthusiast who enjoyed biking and tennis where she was always a partner you could count on. She took yearly trips with family to Jackson Hole, Yellowstone, and Canyonland national parks and bike trips through the wine country with friends. Later she and Jim divorced but always remained good friends.

She met and married the love of her life Bud Bailey and despite having different religious beliefs they spent the next 20 years loving, caring, traveling, and having great adventures together and with their families. She loved traveling, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures. After Bud died she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and spent the last 10 years of her life with her daughter, granddaughter, and grandson at a small farm surrounded with animals. She succumbed to the disease with grace and gratitude for the life she lived and the people she loved. She died at home surrounded by her family.
