Stephanie Marie Grogan

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our daughter, Stephanie Marie, who died on September 2nd, 2020, of natural causes. Stephanie was born on June 20th, 1986, in Billings, MT., to Bob and Margaret Grogan.

Stephanie’s handicaps limited her ability to communicate with us, but her beautiful laugh and radiant smile always told us that she was happy. She especially loved boat rides on Flathead Lake and late evening, holiday strolls, led by her Uncle John with cousins at her side.

Although our angel’s passing will leave deep sorrow, we know that she is home, cradled in God’s loving arms.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bob and Peggy Rowe, and her paternal grandfather, Patrick Grogan. She is survived by her parents, Bob and Margaret, siblings Colleen Bennett [Steven] and Patrick Grogan [Allie], paternal grandmother, Geri Grogan, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Our family would like to extend tremendous gratitude to Kim and Scott Westenskow, for their devotion and care for Stephanie.

On Thursday, September 17th, 2020 a celebration of life will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Millcreek. To ensure compliance with current social distancing guidelines, we kindly ask that you call the funeral parlor Monday thru Saturday between the hours of 9 AM and 5 PM at (801) 474-9119 to make a reservation.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 18th at 12:30 PM at the Cathedral of the Madeleine, 331 East South Temple, Salt Lake City.  Prior to the mass, a red "Watch Service Live" button will appear on this obituary page where friends and family who are unable to attend may livestream the service.  Inurnment Monday, Setember 21st at noon at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.  This portion of services will also be recorded and posted on our website at a later time.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made on behalf of Stephanie Grogan through Venmo @ StephanieGroganMemorial.  Proceeds will be given to caregivers of special needs children.
