Katherine Ann (Meyer) Budo

Katie, (50), passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020. She was a loving mother, sister, daughter, friend, and nurse.

She was an accomplished nurse, most recently at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Prior to her time at Mayo Clinic, Katie was a longtime employee at the University of Utah hospital, and was honored with the staff excellence award.

Katie is survived by her loving children, Brighton Budo and Braxton Budo, her sister Christine Meyer, and mother Betty Blundell. Our entire family is beyond proud of her accomplishments and we would like to express our gratitude for her amazing friends and coworkers in Rochester.  She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Meyer.

Consistent with the current guidelines, the funeral will be by invitation only however those who wish to attend virtually may livestream the service on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 5:00 PM by visiting this page and clicking the “Watch Service Live” button. All are invited to a viewing on Saturday, December 12th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Starks Funeral Parlor, 3651 South 900 East, Salt Lake City.
