In Loving Memory

I was just told of this happening today and im so sad to hear. i was neighbors with Tanner and one of his close childhood friends. I would always go over to their house and we would jump on the bouncy house in the basement and there are songs that still remind me of Tanner and the fun times we had. I remember them always throwing the coolest halloween parties with homemade rootbeer and games like guessing how many candies are in a jar. we used to spend all of our money on duct tape to make many fun creations most notably wallets and roses. late elementary school we grew apart and i would occasionally see him in the halls throughout middle school and high school. I won't forget all the fun we had as kids and it was very sad to hear about this. sending my love to his family and if they need support or love in this i am here for you guys. <3

We're so sorry for your loss! We pray that you will be blessed with the knowledge that you will see Tanner again. I'll never forget his getting every award possible as a Cub Scout and going on to receive his Eagle Scout award as well. We have such fond memories of Tanner. May the Lord bless you with His comforting Spirit in the days to come. Love,

We have been sitting and thinking for a while now what to write; the truth is you can’t sum up almost two decades of some of the best memories of our lives in a message. We loved Tanner, he was family and one of the most loyal brothers we could’ve asked for. He was always their when you needed him, didn’t matter what he himself was going through; he would try and find a way to help. He was truly loyal to those he loved, he had such a huge heart and loved nature. I’ll never forget the amazing memories we shared. We had the best sleep overs ever. We made forts, played games, watched movies, made of all kinds of crafts, we walked to smiths constantly to buy candy and hot Cheetos and rot our teeth; in preparation for an epic night of video games. We caught bugs and snakes and kept them as pets. Had epic pool days! Got in trouble together often… and had so many adventures running around the neighborhood we could go on for pages. We would hang out almost daily in the summer time and every-time we got home from school we would go straight to his house. His friendship for us growing up was our safe space. Our friendship with Tanner is what made our childhood so great; and we are so thankful to him for giving us that. Our condolences go to the family and friends who are grieving the loss of Tanner. We are grateful to  Linda (Ms . T) for letting us be apart of Tanner and their lives growing up and opening their home to two twin rascals. We Loved Tanner and we know he is having a nice rest and no longer in pain. We’re both looking forward to kicking back and reminiscing with Him in the earthly paradise. Last year Tanner had the chance to Study and learn the truth the Bible shares such as how we will be resurrected to the earth and the earth will be turned into a paradise. After Jehovah God fixes it. We both can’t wait to see him there.

Big smiles, great hugs, perfect manners, a lover of nature and a heart as big as the universe.  A caregiver and protector to those he loved and a true friend and brother to my son's Sheradon and Lukas.

Tanner lived his life with courage, patience and an undying devotion to those he cared about, qualities that were a true inspiration.

Tanner will always hold a special place in my family's hearts, a place where our love for him is unconditional and never ending.

Our sincere and heartfelt condolences go out to you all.

Tanner was one of my students along with Madison here at Butler Middle. My sincere condolences to all of you. There are no words for the pain of losing someone so early.

I will be out of town and unable to attend the viewing or funeral, but I wanted to send my love to you all at this difficult time.

I would like to extend the condolences from everyone here at Butler Middle School that Tanner and/or Madison had while attending our school.

Sincerely, Tatiana Grant

My forever first and foremost childhood best friend.

Tanner and his family moved in nextdoor to me when we were just 4 years old, and we spent the next 10 years making countless memories. From building forts in his garage, swimming in his pool, jumping on his bounce house with Madison in the basement or the endless amount of board games they always had readily available. My dad would often walk over to peel me away from Tanner's house "late" at night because we were so caught up in whatever we were doing, we never knew what time it was. Around 15, I moved across the country and slowly we begun to lose ties.

My heart is hurting and grieving not only for myself, but for his little sister, his mom and his dad and the rest of his family. ALL of his friends, past and present who absolutely loved and adored tanner's loving, free-spirited personality beyond words.

You are all in my heart and my thoughts. We all lost someone very very special to us.

My true condolences. ️
